To fund the first of the Psalm 103 Project — commissioning the score, getting everybody to Bloomington for a working weekend, putting on a public event about our work, publishing the finished product — we turned initially to Kickstarter. A monthlong campaign in April and May 2013 convinced over 140 people to back us for the initial steps of the idea; it seemed touch and go at times, but the drama is half the fun!
We also were awarded a couple of grants, and received support from other sources. Without everybody’s support for the first phase, we wouldn’t be where we are now — thanks to all of you who accomplished this!
